XA30
The XA30 protection relay is designed to ensure maximum safety and reliability for medium-voltage (MV) electrical networks. It is the ideal solution for industrial plants, power distribution systems, and applications requiring advanced protection for lines and transformers.
Key Applications
  • Long radial lines in systems with isolated neutral or grounded through Petersen coil and/or high-value resistance.
  • Protection on the LV side of parallel transformers, regardless of the neutral grounding system.
  • Earth fault protection for generators or generator-transformer busbars connected in parallel to the same busbar.
The XA30 relay provides general protection for MV distribution networks, supporting overcurrent protection and directional earth fault protection for critical infrastructures.

NA10

Thytronic's NA10 relay is used on radial-type networks to protect power lines and transformers and can be used as general protection forusers connected to the MV distribution network in accordance with CEI 0-16, in applications where maximum current and ground fault protection functions are provided. In systems with a grounded neutral, it provides reliable protection against ground faults on lines of any length. In systems with an isolated neutral, where the connection to ground is made through Petersen coil or resistor, ground-fault protection, on the other hand, is employed only on lines of limited length. This approach avoids untimely tripping due to the contribution of the line's capacitive current to external faults.

Features of the NA10 general protection relay

Standard protection and control functions of the Thytronic NA10 relay include maximum phase current and residual current monitoring, ensuring complete protection against overloads and faults. The breaker failureand phase overcurrent funtions  contribute to system safety and control. In addition, the relay offers trip circuit supervision and meets the requirements of the Italian standard CEI 0-16, ensuring operation in accordance with safety standards.

Optionally, the integration of protection function 26 for machine temperature measurement using Pt100 thermometer probes is available. Regarding communication functions, the relay is equipped with a USB type B port, facilitating communication with ThyVisor configuration software for easy configuration and effective system monitoring.
