Production Manager – Automation Systems Projects

POSITION PURPOSE

Coordinate and supervise the entire production process of electrical panels and electronic devices, including the procurement of purchased products and external services, delivery times, and quality standards, within a project-based production environment. Reports to the Operations Director. Location: Padua.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and manage production activities based on acquired orders, ensuring compliance with timelines and costs.
Generate project-based production orders.
Verify proper planning of purchases.
Monitor the progress of production orders and address any issues.
Control and monitor the receipt of materials and semi-finished products.
Update and reschedule production planning in case of delays, unforeseen events, or changing operational needs.
Interface with the Purchasing Department and Project Managers.
Coordinate the electrical assembly team.
Interface with Logistics and Warehouse departments.
Communicate with suppliers regarding technical and logistical aspects.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of electrical panel building, electrical systems, and electronic devices.
Understanding of processing cycles and timelines for automation system projects.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and wiring layouts.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for project management.

Managerial Skills:

Production planning.
Time and cost control.

Interpersonal Skills:

Effective communication with internal teams and suppliers.
Problem-solving and results-oriented mindset.
Negotiation and conflict management skills.

Education & Experience:

Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in similar roles within the electrical/electronic sector.
