HARDWARE ENGINEER

Purpose of the position

  • Design activities of the hardware part of new products and search for the most suitable solutions in the context of subsequent series production, ensuring that the finished product meets product specifications. 
  • Ensure adherence to entrusted schedules, bringing development to successful completion.


Responsibilities

  • Participation in the activity of estimating part costs and development costs in the definition phase
  • Participation in product feasibility review activity.
  • Participation in the Project Planning activity.
  • Market research of the most suitable devices for the application (in terms of cost, performance, reliability). 
  • Design activities (circuit sizing, component interfacing, circuit diagram design, IP integration in FPGA, board layout design assistance, product conformance to customer standards/standards). 
  • Fw (BSP)/Hw integration activities in collaboration with Software Engineers.
  • Verification of product compliance to customer standards/ specifications 
  • Performing bench tests on designed devices.
  • Preparing and assisting with laboratory tests for product qualification.
  • Analysis of Lab test results and related test requests to Project Leader.
  • Debugging activities on field/production issues in collaboration with Software Engineer, Service, Production.
  • Support in the definition, and maintenance of the Hardware architecture of the project.
  • Support in defining choices for implementation of test setups.
  • Assist with project/design archiving and any other activities related to the scope of the position.

Requirements:

  • Degree in electronic engineering. 
  • Proven experience in the role
  • Aptitude for interpersonal relationships and teamwork
  • Decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage collaborators
  • English language skills
